Equity and Excellence: Supporting Social Emotional Learning​

To address the social, emotional, and mental health needs of students and educators, Maine is committed to building statewide supports for social and emotional learning. R1CC is convening stakeholder conversations to assist ME DOE in needs assessment, stakeholder engagement, and data driven decision-making with educators and leaders from a variety of educational organizations in Maine, including principals, union leaders, curriculum leaders, and school counselors. Following each conversation, the R1CC team will support the dissemination of social and emotional learning resources within the state by summarizing relevant research on the most pressing and high-leverage issues discussed.
