R1CC is supporting MDOE in piloting an educator workforce data collection tools and guidance alongside school administrative units (SAUs) to (1) understand both local and state educator workforce needs and (2) inform educator talent management policy and strategies. Results from this pilot will inform state legislation outlining MDOE’s authority in collecting educator workforce data collection, something MDOE cannot currently collect.
