Project Lead: Vermont
Catherine Bitter is a project manager for the Region 1 Comprehensive Center. She has more than 15 years of experience leading and managing research and capacity-building projects for state, local, and Foundation clients. Ms. Bitter is responsible for managing, supporting, and lending expertise to R1CC projects in the state of Vermont.
As a researcher at AIR, Catherine Bitter’s work has focused on student-centered learning and deeper learning approaches, as well as K-12 school reform and accountability. At AIR, she has directed a wide range of research studies and led data collection and analysis tasks to inform district and school-level improvement efforts.
