Cheryl Krohn, PhD, is a project lead in the Region 1 Comprehensive Center supporting Massachusetts and Maine. She brings deep expertise in educator workforce policies such as educator mentoring and induction, leveraging state level data systems to understand supply and demand, and addressing educator shortages.

She has more than 23 years of experience in education as a teacher, principal, education preparation instructor, and brings extensive state education agency experience to her role with R1CC. Dr. Krohn is an expert in leveraging quantitative and qualitative data at the federal, state, and local levels to understand and address issues related to recruiting, preparing, developing, and retaining the educator workforce and addressing equitable access.
