Clare Waterman is a state liaison for the Region 1 Comprehensive Center. She has more than a decade of experience providing outreach, needs sensing, technical assistance, and dissemination to educational leaders and stakeholders. As the state liaison for Vermont, Dr. Waterman is responsible for overseeing intensive projects throughout the state.
Dr. Waterman is an expert in collaborating with education practitioners and policymakers to use research, evaluation, and data to inform education practice and policy. She is the director or co-director of three research-practice partnerships in New England, including a partnership with the Vermont Agency of Education. Dr. Waterman brings a depth of knowledge regarding the Vermont education landscape and providing education in rural places.
