Fernanda Marinho Kray, Ph.D., is senior technical assistant provider for Region 1 Comprehensive Center. Dr. Marinho Kray has authored an array of materials in the field of education and directed both local and large-scale policy and practice-oriented projects across 41 US states and territories.
Building on her own experience as a formerly undocumented English learner, Dr. Marinho Kray has dedicated her life’s work to developing interdisciplinary perspectives and research-based pedagogies for multicultural and multilingual learners. Her areas of expertise include standards; curriculum, instruction, and assessment; Students with Limited and Interrupted Formal Schooling (SLIFE); professional learning systems; and program evaluation.
