Keane Alavi is a Technical Assistance Associate for the Region 1 Comprehensive Center. He has more than five years of experience working on U.S. Department of Education-funded technical assistance centers, and primarily focuses on addressing educator shortages and diversifying the educator workforce.
Mr. Alavi supports R1CC states to build comprehensive and transparent data systems that characterize the current educator population in greater detail, determine educator needs geographically. Additionally, he supports states to leverage those data system to inform logic model design, conduct stakeholder engagement gatherings, identify benchmarks, and create guidance and training materials.
