Susan Therriault is a co-director of the Region 1 Comprehensive Center at AIR. She has more than 20 years of experience leading research and capacity-building initiatives focused on serving states, districts, and schools and directing capacity-building networks that provide technical assistance to expand and improve student pathways to success. In addition to other duties, Dr. Therriault oversees the portfolio of intensive projects in Massachusetts and Vermont.
Dr. Therriault is an expert on federal, state, and local policies focused on systems of support for low-performing schools; continuous improvement, early warning systems to improve educational outcomes, and college and career readiness; state implementation of Title I; student educational choice; and comprehensive school reform models. Her expertise extends to conducting research and technical assistance on the use of data by states, districts, and schools.
